Why Order Matters More Than Products
The most common skincare mistake isn't choosing the wrong products — it's applying the right ones in the wrong order. Actives need to reach the skin directly; if you're layering them on top of a moisturiser, you're wasting them. This guide fixes that once and for all.
The golden rule: thinnest consistency to thickest, water-based before oil-based, actives before occlusives.
The Full Morning Ritual
Step 1 — Cleanse (AM)
Morning cleansing is lighter work — you're removing overnight products and any sweat, not deep-cleaning pores. Use your Radiant Glow Facial Wash (£22.99) with lukewarm water for 30–60 seconds. Pat dry with a clean cloth.
Step 2 — Tone
Restore your skin's pH and prime it for absorption. Apply Hydrating Toner (£19.99) — press into skin with clean palms rather than swiping, to avoid irritation.
Step 3 — Active Serum
This is the engine of your morning routine. Apply Exosome & Niacinamide Serum (£23.99) to slightly damp skin — 2–3 drops, pressed in gently with fingertips. Wait 60 seconds for absorption before the next step.
Step 4 — Moisturise (AM)
Seal everything in with Peptide Ageless AM/PM Cream (£24.99). The morning formula includes protective peptides that hold moisture through the day.
The Full Evening Ritual
Step 1 — Cleanse (PM) — Double Cleanse if Wearing SPF or Makeup
Evening is your deep-clean moment. Start with an oil-based cleanser to dissolve SPF and makeup residue, then follow with Acne Face Wash (£22.99) or Kojic Acid Exfoliator (£22.99) — the exfoliator once or twice a week only to prevent over-resurfacing.
Step 2 — Exfoliate (2–3 nights a week)
Use Glycolic Acid Toner (£22.99) on exfoliation nights — apply to a cotton pad and sweep gently across skin, avoiding the eye area. Skip the regular hydrating toner on these nights.
Step 3 — Treatment Serum (PM)
Evening is when your repair serums do their best work:
- Retinol Alternative Serum (£23.99) — use 3–4 nights a week for cell turnover and line-smoothing.
- Hydrating Serum (£24.99) — on non-retinol nights, or layer beneath the retinol if your skin tolerates it.
For dark spots and hyperpigmentation, add a pea-sized amount of Targeted Dark Spot Care 1% Kojic Acid (£22.99) directly to problem areas.
Step 4 — Night Cream
Complete the ritual with Sensitive Overnight Cream (£24.99) or the heavier Peptide Ageless PM formula. Your skin regenerates fastest between 11pm and 3am — this is when the night cream earns its keep.
Weekly Additions
- Jade Roller & Gua Sha Set (£9.61+) — 5 minutes after your evening serum to boost lymphatic drainage and reduce puffiness.
- LED Therapy Face Mask (£67.99+) — 3 sessions a week for collagen stimulation (red light) or acne clearing (blue light).
